AX 2012:How to create Report using Query

   How to create Report using Query

  1). First create query(right click query and new query Rename it).
 
  2). Add table which you want to add in query Datasource(go to datasource field and set Dynamic property to Yes).
 
  3). Like that we can add multpile datasource as per requirement.

  4). Now open Visual Studio Environment.
   
  5). Create new Project -> select "microsoft dyanmics Ax" -> Report Model -> rename.

  6). Now in solution explorer Right Click on project name -> add new report(rename).

  7). Open node Right click on dataset and add new dataset(rename it) and in property window select    Queryname
   
      that you created(after that we will find all field from that query in dataset field).

  8). After that go to design,there are two type of design :
     
      a.Autodesign.
     
      b.Precison Design.

  9). In auto design we can add whole table and accordingly we can perform Grouping,Sorting,filtering operations.

  10).Right click on design node and say precision desgin and right click on precsion design and select edit using debugger.
   
      In precision design we can create design according to us it more customized design.

  11).Now right click on precsion design and check preview.
